Absolutely delightful.
It bothers me a bit the narrative about him is that he had a dip in form last season where in actual fact he was playing through an agonizing sports hernia. I think he said himself he was only “30% Sonny”. That’s not a dip in form, that’s a peak in legendary teamwork and heroism. What a guy. We’re so lucky to have him and he deserves a huge statue wearing his biggest smile. What a joy that would be.
Related to this video, Son’s passing stats. As Adam Clery so eloquently put it: holy fuck!
And here’s the point Adam is making. Not only is Son an elite goalscorer, he has become an elite creative force as demonstrated by those passing stats and these goal and shot creation stats.
