I just came across this live video of two of the greatest personalities of anime music. Unfortunately it ends a bit abruptly, I think because they were transitioning into the next song. But the beginning with Kanno on the piano is all the more precious!

Have to admit, the whole audience singing along to songs I haven’t heard for something like 20(?) years, got to me.
Right? I haven’t even watched Escaflowne, but this performance got me emotional. Kanno on the piano is outright adorable, with how enthusiastic she is about the song and getting everyone to sing along.
