I’ve seen duct or painters tape covering the speakers…
You can press a button next to the screen to mute it, but this doesn’t work at all gas stations. (Usually its the 2nd from the top on the right side)
I guess its just time to gettoblast music every time I pump gas like back when I was 19…
Technically illegal in some places to leave it unattended, but so is entering and exiting the vehicle and nobody follows that rule either. Some assholes smoke at the pumps.
Tbh, most of the pumps near me have broken latches. My comment is mostly cynical. The pumps that do have these stupid ad screens, it’s really not hard to just stand there and ignore it anyways.
