Guns are out of the box, you’re not solving shootings via confiscation anymore. And these mass shootings started to occur right around the time these 24/7 news media companies sprang up.
Safety nets and fixing our society will do *100 more than trying to get rid of 450+ million firearms.
Considering all the countries you want to compare the US with have social safety nets and actually try and support their citizens…they usually also have less violence over all, but let’s ignore that.
It’s not a media problem. It’s a gun problem that seems to be very specific to one country.
There’s also that lack of a social safety net, healthcare,etc…

Strange that all countries aren’t just going off the rails with gun violence in schools huh? What’s unique about the US??
