    Well, supporting Linux means you support the kind of people who actually loves their computers and don’t just use them as a tool.

    A big reason Steam got popular is their Linux support. You think it’s 1% of users, but you dont understand… Linux users are guiding everyone else around them what to do. Where to buy games, where to download movies etc. Valve made those users are priority and that got them the mindshare and love of all those users, which in return made said users tell everyone else to use Steam since it’s excellent.

    I’ve been gaming on only Linux for the last 5 years maybe now, and games usually just work. When they don’t, I ask for a refund and get it. It’s like 1 minute of work for Valve to grant a refund, and it makes me buy so many more games. In fact I have like 25 games on steam now and I don’t have time to play them all even. I asked for maybe 8 refunds over the years, but usually because the game has not been fun. They almost always worked fine.
